The question this book tries to answer is one of language. How can we speak of God to the men of our day? Between the God who seeks man, and the man who seeks God, the path must be found. Our speech about God must reach the heart of man, his inner experience. In particular, it must reach the heart of the man of our day. This book is the expression of that attempt.
