The book is comprehensive survey of geography, the countries of the world and an introduction to astronomy, written in Welsh by Robert Roberts (1777-1836) of Holyhead. It is arranged in two sections: the first, 96 pages in size, describes astronomy; the second, 548 pages, concerns geography and the countries of the world. It includes fold-out maps of the world and of different continents. The title translates into English as: Geography, giving a history of the various countries, kingdoms and areas that are in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, also the seas, lakes, rivers, mountains, islands etc. that are on the entire earth.
