Randy's life was not the way it used to be. After her mother was killed in an accident, and her father remarried, they moved to a new town where Randy didn't know a soul. As she tried to get friendly with her next door neighbor, Delia Abbot, suddenly she shut Randy off. Randy didn't know why—until she saw the purplish bruise on Delia's back.
