Reflections in dark glass

A revisionist history of John Wesley Hardin, a Texas gunman who in his lifetime killed more than 40 men. It is told from three points of view, one of them being his black wet nurse. Hardin is presented as a hero fighting to preserve Southern values following the defeat in the Civil War.
