the long version
Former wild child Denise Carson has settled down a bit--with her own bookstore she has learned about responsibility. Then one day, Andrew Mitchell walks into her store with his sister to shop. He has lived most of his life amidst the blue blood of Nashville, until he gets a job with a gift-wrap manufacturing plant in Clearview. His sister Amy, wanting to get away from the shelter of their over-protective parents, goes against their wishes and joins him. Denise sees the potential in the shy and withdrawn girl and sets out on a mission to help her spread her wings. Naturally, Andrew resists. After all, Amy is his little sister, and she's been placed in his care. He takes his job of protecting his sister seriously, but Denise is determined to continue working on Amy. When her "experiments" start taking effect and Amy starts blossoming, Andrew disapproves more and more. The only problem for Denise are her feelings for Andrew--can she be her spontaneous self and help those she cares about without alienating him and his conservative ways?
