Alice and Eve can’t believe their luck when they are offered the opportunity to become Girl Fridays on a luxury Italian yacht. The world becomes their oyster - until disaster strikes, and Alice is rushed to hospital. Goffredo, an official of the Banca d’Italia offers his help, and soon Eve happily believes they have a future together - until one day, inexplicably, Goffredo throws her out and turns his back on her. After a spell of tending her wounds back in England, Eve returns to the country she has come to love, to take up a position with the wealthy Rolari family on the isle of Capri. But before long it becomes clear that someone is watching them. Could it be linked to the mystery surrounding Goffredo?
