Filmore likes nothing better than to play with his woodland friends but when an unpopular character, Bernard Bear, tries to join the fun, Filmore and the others turn him away with cruel taunts and bullying. Filmore's conscience gets the better of him but before he has a chance to apologize to Bernard, the little cub must risk his own life to save the lives of the very animals who had misjudged him.
