the long version

Leigh Fallon, wife of a Congressman, has everything but what she craves most--love from a man who sees her as more than an attractive ornament. Erik Haukeland, a charismatic Norwegian thirteen years her junior, can read her artist's soul. But Leigh remains true to her twenty-year marriage-until she discovers her husband's affair. Turning to Erik for solace, she destroys her marriage, estranges her children--and ultimately discovers hidden strength and courage.
