Gender and Archaeology Edited by Rita Wright This important collection represents current thinking in feminist studies in archaeology. Its contributors are primarily anthropologists but the book also includes essays by a bioanthropologist and an historian of technology. All are leading scholars who, using a range of methodologies and theoretical frameworks, integrate gender into the central questions with which archaeologists have traditionally been concerned.
