CIA operator, Eric Brent and his revolutionary light weapon invention is used by CIA to flush out a secretive, "phantom" military/civilian group hostile to a free-spending, over-reaching U.S. Government. Recovering from gunshot wounds, this final assignment comes before Eric enters the private sector as a weapons inventor/researcher.
