A family encyclopaedia

A dictionary of terms from the sciences, the military, the church, history, and other specialized vocabularies which a person may encounter but not be familiar with from common usage, including explanations of latin phrases which have been adopted into English. Some longer encyclopedic articles covering, for example, the history of the various fields of study, are also included.
