"The Growth of Industrialization" is part of a basal world history series for senior high students which is written at the seventh grade reading level. The text includes abridged primary and secondary source materials, graphs, maps, charts, and color and black and white photographs and drawings. Inventions such as Ford's assembly line, Watt's steam engine and Lavoisier's chemistry processes; theories such as those of Dalton on matter, Pasteur on disease, and Einstein on relativity; and publications such as Marx and Engel's "Communist Manifesto" and Freud's psychoanalytic papers are explored as to their influence on world culture.
