This is the history of a Roman Catholic Priest who move from Spain to Argentina to preach at early XX century. But once there, he start to have serious moral problems to continue playing the role of "father", after reading carefully the Bible. Then he decide to quit the church, followed by a woman from a rich family from Villa del Rosario, in the northern province of Cordoba. The book explain all the troubles faced by the ex-priest, facing jails and persecutions, and how he realize that quiting the powerful religious organisation he become a real Christian, founded in evidences and truth, rather than myths.
