Aging rocker Johnny Lee Rogers is coming to Larchborough for a series of charity concerts and dowdy, deluded librarian Lizzie Thornton -- his biggest fan -- has won tickets to see his final show. Lizzie is convinced that Fate is bringing them together -- and she has always wanted a December wedding. The town is basking in a heat not experienced for decades but for DCI Paul Wells and his team this will be no Summer of Love.
