After an illustrative introduction between pages 5 and 18, about the ceremonies of graduation at the Royal and Pontificial San Marcos University of Lima between XVI and XVII centuries, the author has published an ancient document that he found in the National Library of Peru in Lima. He found it in 1914, into the then named Colección de Papeles Varios labeled with the number 165, folio 243. The document is dated in 1685.
