The revitalization of Miami's South Beach Art Deco District is one of the great success stories of twentieth-century architecture and urban design. In the wake of this success, a mdoernist building boom resulted to complement the existing Art Deco gems, and the development Aqua is the culmination of this urban transformation. The brainchild of the developer Craig Robins, Aqua is the first New Urbanist community that features exclusively modernist work - with a star roster of architects, such as Alison Spear, Hariri & Hariri, and Alexander Gorlin.
