A horse called Hero

Wolfie and his sister Dodo find an orphaned foal whom they raise and name Hero. During World War II Hero is stolen from their home. Years go by and Wolfie gets a job as a stable hand at a mine, where he finds Hero again, working under harsh conditions. Taking his life in his hands, Wolfie plans on stealing Hero back.
