Scotland, 1766. Angus McTern's grandfather had lost the family's land and castle in a card game, but the young laird takes his duties seriously. Respected by his clan - he has everything he wants in life. But then the legal heiress to the castle - the beautiful Edilean Talbot arrives. Angus resents her privileged upbringing and his clan's worship of her. Then suddenly, when Edilean's inheritance is stolen, Angus finds himself accused of snatching the inheritance AND the heiress.
