Lock keeper's daughter

Born in 1924 and known as "the scrapings of the pot", Pat Warner was one of seven children brought up alongside the canal. Times were hard, money short and mortality high - Pat's family had to struggle to get by. Lock keeper's daughter is a very human account of a canal childhood during the 1930s; celebrating a way of life that has virtually disappeared.
