In a remote Argentinian brothel, La Gringa, the ancient madam, approaches death. She has one regret that still haunts her. She never travelled to Venice with her one true love. None of the girls can afford the voyage, but La Gringa is blind, and it is her last wish to travel there. And so a plan is formed to take her on a fantastical journey to redeem her youth and rediscover her lost love in a city with streets of water.
