"This draft Integrated Activity Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (IAP/EIS) addresses a list of issues and contains a range of four alternatives for the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) future management of nearly 23 million acres of public land in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A). Decisions to be made as part of this plan include the availability of oil and gas leasing, availability for new infrastructure development, a determination of special boundaries, and consideration of new or revised lease stipulations and required operating procedures"--Letter of transmittal.
