After her husband's tragic death, Anne Crawford is persuaded to go home to the Seychelles for a complete break. On the journey she meets Rene du Tours, an attractive but disturbing young Frenchman, and bumps into a childhood sweetheart, Mike Sanders. Home in Bienvenue, slowly learning to relax again in Mike’s company, Anne is shattered by the sudden arrival of Rene and his companion Monique.
