This is just the second volume of Bodes "Mein Leben" (My life). It starts about the year 1880 and ends around 1913 (precicely Feburary 1914, when the Monforte Altar by Hugo van der Goes arrived from Spain in Berlin. Fundamental: In this Volume you find the Denkschrift für Neubauten bei den Königlichen Museen from 1907, which legitimised the building of the nowadays Pergamonmuseum on the Museumsinsel. This Denkschrift is NOT part of the Edition of Bodes Memoires from 1997!
