Model English

Donnelly's approach to teaching rhetoric in Model English I requires the student to imitate and analyze various models from Washington Irving's _Sketchbook_. Donnelly takes the student through imitation and analysis of sentences, paragraphs, and essays, eventually working with narration and description.
