Albert's old shoes

This picture book about a boy named Albert who is embarrassed about his "ugly, scuffed up, funny looking old brown shoes." He has to endure the teasing of Bill, the school bully. The story was inspired in part by the song *Old Brown Shoe* by The Beatles, a British pop group of some renown.
