For this was what it was like: the sudden burst of attraction, the odd sense of recognition. So when the man followed her out of the store and down the street, Laurian was certain he felt the same way. She wasn't in the habit of talking to strangers, but this was different. So she did. And found out his name. Oliver Thornham. A name from her past, and one she had every reason to hate.
