Everything appears to be running smoothly in the Poor Relation Hotel--renowned for elegance and eccentricity--until two unwelcome guests challenge its gentle owners' amatory expertise. Now commotion reigns at the Poor Relation Hotel. When old Sir Philip Somerville brings home a fat, vulgar, and greedy paramour, Mrs. Budge, the portly woman costs the hotel a pretty penny. Soon the other poor relations come up with a deception to force her departure. While horrible Lady Carruthers passes off her daughter as a school miss and sets her own cap for the young Earl of Denby--whom the daughter also pursues. The poor relations try to rid themselves of the mother while finding the daughter a husband.
