Shaggy dogs & spotty dogs & shaggy & spotty dogs

the long version

Shaggy or spotty, big or small, frisky or lazy, lost or found -- dogs come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities, in all kinds of homes with all kinds of owners, with elegant names or foolish ones, riding in millionaires' limousines or tagging behind small boys, dressed in fancy clothes or covered in mud. Seymour Leichman has captured them all in verse, illustrated with rollicking drawings of dogs that could conquer Westminster or a small child's heart -- or the small child's heart hidden in all of us.
