Strictly private business

Sam Harris, out of luck as usual, is on the run after an abortive burglary. He goes into hiding near the New Forest, where he gets involved in some dirty business with Anne Winters and her husband, along with crime boss Phil Harrigan. A corrupt Member of Parliament is also part of the action, and Sam is very soon well out of his depth. Optimistic as ever, he tries to blackmail the MP, and Phil Harrigan has him gathered in for disposal, but with a typical piece of Harris sauce, Sam ducks out of danger at the last minute.
