the long version
May Sparks works for a discreet social media company which looks after the online profiles of C - list celebrities who have the tendency to say inappropriate things. Her clients include an ex big brother star (who she ends up sleeping with), a disgraced TV presenter, a young pop singer, and a woman who flashed everyone on X-factor. It's an all consuming job which draws her further away from her friends and any work/life balance. Her friends criticise her for this, as does her handsome neighbour, Alex, who later turns out to be @tintino on Twitter, the tweep mocking all her clients and making her job more difficult. Following several fake hackings and client confessions online, May's identity is discovered and she finds herself having to make a quick exit from the social media circus. She gives in to spontaneity and heads to Wales with @tintino / Alex where she discovers a moment of happiness and peace away from the online racket.
