It wasn't an ordinary nurse-doctor romance It began with their confrontation over nurses' rights, since Kate Matthews was the nurses' representative at St. Mike's in Fargo, North Dakota, and Dr. Chase Kincaid had just been appointed the hospital's new administrator. Then their relationship was complicated by certain love letters falling into the wrong--or rather, the right--hands.
