Roy Rogers and Dale Evans tell their life stories with the help of life-long fan, Carlton Stowers. Both the King of the Cowboys and the Queen of the West suffered defeats before enjoying world-wide acclaim. Interestingly, first Dale, then Roy were led to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ under the ministry of Jack MacArthur, father to the famed Dr. John MacArthur. Written in the first person by both Roy and Dale with Mr. Stowers sharing the background, this is a very enjoyable book to read.
