Bibliographia Iuridica Estonica (BIE) is a bibliographic database covering publications in the area of law. The database is based on a printed publication bearing the same name and compiled by the National Library of Estonia. The database covers literature from the field of law published in Estonia, works by Estonian lawyers and material about the Estonian legal system published abroad, including data on law books, articles in magazines and collections of articles as well as information about graduation theses in law. * Data on publications not present in Estonian libraries is also covered; these descriptions are indirect. * Simple and advanced search, indexes and help materials are available. * The database does not contain references to newspaper articles – these are included in the database ISE. * Articles are added to the database on a weekly basis and books on a quarterly basis.
