the long version
The Book is written by Dr. S. N. Dhyani, Former Dean, Head and Principal of University Studies in Law, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has contributed a lot in the field of indian jurisprudence i.e. jurisprudence in India. He has made a wonderful comparison of various schools and philosophers of western jurisprudence with ancient and contemprory indian philosophers. He has compared the theories propounded by philosophers of both world. He has in this way established that legal jurisprudence existed in Indian Civilisation since Vedic Period. This book and the book Fundamentals of Jurisprudence - The Indian Approach are excellent peice of work by Dr. Dhyani and is very useful for the comparative study of the legal systems of both world.
