When her teaching career in Paris comes to an unexpected end, Rosalind Mansell returns to the family farm in Shropshire. Faced with a number of family problems that greet her on arrival, the last thing on her mind is the possibility of a fresh relationship - especially when one of the new faces in the village belongs to the young vicar.
