Private investigator Frank Molina is called in by the Bogotá police for advice on solving a series of murders of prostitutes in the city's Santa Fe neighborhood which resemble those committed by Jack the Ripper. While investigating these crimes he meets his mentor, a priest tormented by secrets from his past. Meanwhile, a young painter discovers she possesses supernatural powers.
