Never a time to trust

An autobiography of Joe (Joseph Edwin) Garner (b.1909), dealing with his life as a frontiersman in British Columbia (particularly as a frontiersman on Vancouver Island). The book also tells the story of "... the loggers, the woodsmen, the do-gooders, the law makers, the bounty hunters and the men who administer the often wacky game regulations." (p. 12).
