The Devil's Rope

Bringing barbed wire to Wayward, Wyoming was kind of like taking a dancehall gal to a church meeting...it was asking for trouble. But Dave Runyan had trouble before he even arrived. Smallpox had nearly wiped out a wagon train and Dave helped the lone survivor get to town. From that moment on, things got increasingly worse. Men want to kill him for bringing the wire, an encampment of Indians is struck down with the disease, and Dave wants more than simple friendship with the woman he saved... but is that possible? When he learns the smallpox has been spread purposely, it also puts him on the trail of a professional fighter. That means his plans for a life of any kind is bucking high odds.
