"This book contains information about 6961 taxons of higher vascular plants growing on the territory of Asiatic Russia which represents 75% of Russian territory. Edition is based on multivolume publications 'Flora of Siberia' (1987-1997, 2003) and 'Vascular plants of Soviet (Russian) Far East' (1985-1996, 2006) and 'Synopsis of flora of Siberia: vascular plants' (2005). Data are original, for many taxons information on nomenclature, distribution and ecology were refined and for critical taxons comments were made. Indexes of new taxa names and Latin names of families and genera are given."--P. [4].
