The works of Dr. Benjamin Franklin

the long version

I own a copy of this book. It is very small only 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. It is bound in a hard cover in a brown color which is either leather or cardboard with a mottled leather pattern. The only decoration is some gold tooled lines on the spine and one band of reddish color with the words FRANKLIN and WORKS in gold, which has been rubbed out partially in my copy.There is an etching of Franklin opposite the title page. and there are 304 pages including the index.
