The How To Book of Riding and Horse Care has been written, designed and illustrated to make the early stages of riding and the basics of stable work, clear, straightforward and explicit. Used as an accompaniment to riding instruction, it will make the process of learning more enjoyable and satisfying. Heidi Best started riding at the age of eight and competed regularly and successfully on her thoroughbred mare, Moondancer. She was editor, in the UK, of leading title PONY magazine, and its sister publication, Light Horse, instructed regularly at riding club and Mendip Farmers' Pony Club and now works as a freelance writer and editor.
