Al-Mutafarrid

Al-Mutafarrid is an index of Islamic jurisprudence in Shafi'i madhhab, written by the celebrated scholar of 15th-century Šeikh Abd al-'Azīz al-Makhdūm. This book has been a traditional and historical oeuvre – especially in South India – and still used as a textbook in most Islamic colleges and seminaries.
