Baseball in Florida

In Florida you can see major league baseball from April through September in Miami and Tampa Bay, spring training games throughout central Florida in March, minor league ball in the spring and fall at over a dozen Florida sites, college baseball throughout the spring in dozens of towns, and high school and organized youth leagues throughout the year in hundreds of towns all over the state. More than a million fans a year attend the minor league games of the Florida State League in hopes of seeing the next Al Lopez, Stan Musial, or Early Wynn, just a few of the ball players who played in Florida and then went on to make the Hall of Fame.
