Reviews of the CD and album sales have been good. The CD is in its second printing. Tales from the Hills is the winner of the Seal of Excellence Award by "Creative Child Magazine," The album was recorded in Franklin, Tennessee at the Outfield. The original music and arrangements of traditional tunes were done by Lockett's son, Mark Lockett.
