The People's War

A collection of photographs and accounts documenting everyday life on Britain's home front during WWII. It presents the stories of the men, women and children left at home who dug for victory, knitted for victory, waved goodbye to loved ones, accommodated strangers, went out to work and who provided support to the troops on the frontline.
