Amira Dolanes, a precocious, self-absorbed 16-year-old soapie starlet is all washed-up. She has gone, it seems, from darling to deadweight overnight, as one of her nastier reviewers notes, 'Amira, darl, your 15 minutes of fame are up ... and, Babe, minute 16 can be hell.' Amira tries to revive her career by pulling a publicity stunt so big, so devious and so obnoxious it just might work. It will require the most committed and exhausting performance of her life, and she will have to keep it a secret from everybody, especially her life-long manager, Lilith, who also works part-time as her mother.
