Our protagonist is the seventeen year old Henry Maggleheimer, who is from the small town of Lone Jack, Missouri. Just a year prior, he was determined to set his young course by heading to the Alaskan and Yukon gold fields along with so many others who were smitten with gold fever. This is a fast paced amusement park ride that takes the reader through many twists and mysterious sub plots; an amazing two days spent in one of the most iconic eras and locations in American history.
