Quelque part dans le monde

Tells the story of Sylvestre Neyrat, who refuses to inherit the family business, and moves to Paris, where he enchanted by the life there. He discovers the new world of photography, and becomes a reporter. He goes to America in time to witness the opening of the Panama Canal, fall in love, and continue to experience and photograph South America, find himself "somewhere in the world".
