Also articles on some of his favorite dolls, such as Child Star Dolls of the 1930's and 1940's, National Costume Dolls, Shirleys, Kewpies, Ginnys, Dionnes, Effanbee Compos, Tonis, Celebrities, Anne Shirleys, Pinocchios, and strangely - Elvis Presley. A few color plates, but mostly black and white pictures. There is an introduction by John Axe explaining his love of dolls and interest in their backgrounds. The articles are all reprints from Doll Reader Magazine.
