Corbett, herself The book was published by the Police Gazette, one of the pioneer and leading true crime and sporting magazines of its time. Of almost equal interest are the illustrations and portraits of significant fighters and the shakers and movers of the fight game in the 1890s. Additionally, are several pages of curious adds for other books (the book on the Whitechapel Murders is unfortunately not available on Open Library), as well as photographs of contemporary actresses, including "bust" shots.
